Need Help with an older Nintendo Game

I remember when i was younger i played this game on a Nintendo system that my parents either sold or got lost or something but I'm looking to find the system and the game on eBay so that i can once again play it. The main thing that i remember about the game is that the characters are frogs, it is a multiplayer game and you are frogs that can pick up like swords or whatever to kill bad guys and then once you have killed enough bad guys you play the bosses. I remember one of the bosses being a giant hand that smashed out of a wall and then tried to crush the characters. If anyone has any idea which game this is it would be much appreciated. ThanksNeed Help with an older Nintendo Game
Battletoads? did it look like this:
Need Help with an older Nintendo Game
Yeah, that's definitely Battletoads.
i think he should call up one of those used game franchises, and ask if they have any copies of Battletoads. which one should he call, though... which one...
Yep thats it thank you
could be Frogger

samurai showdown bust/slash

wat the diffrence between bust and slash in the samurai showdown games?samurai showdown bust/slash
The slash/bust system was only present in Saumurai Showdown III and IV. It basically represented a 'good' and an 'evil' version of each character. Differences between the two characters was mainly a slight different moveset for each, but that's about it.samurai showdown bust/slash
Slash ''Shura'' comes from an ancient Japanese war God. Bust ''Rasetsu'' comes from a Japanese demon. They're basically two different personalities which can represent the characters. In Samurai Spirits IV specially. the differece between $tyles is quite drastic. Most of the characters play totally different from one $tyle to another.
really there diffrent? i cant even tell lol

what game for ps2?

i just need a game for ps2 that isnt rpg or anyyhing like fantasy stuff. its a game reccomendation. what game should i get?what game for ps2?
The Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto series are good to play.what game for ps2?
Easy, if you like blood, midless violence, and awesome deaths in the collosseum, Shadow of Rome is the game for you.Check it out
Either God of War games. Both are awesome.
Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Ratchet and Clank Series, look in the PS2 recommendation thread.
Hitman Trilogy, MGS 3, RE 4, GTA series, Bully
click the ps2 in my sig. There are lots of great games that are not RPG's. If im not playing RPG's, I usually prefer hack n slashers, fighters, or racing. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the only FPS I love to play over and over and over. I definately enjoy RPG's the most though.
Jak and Daxter series. dominance.
i think it should be bully and yeah does anyone know if LA noire is cumin for da ps2
hey u there right now
hey u there right now
The Gamespot forums are not an instant messaging service. (I've got to wonder at some people's mental concept of certain things I have taken for granted for as long as I can remember--a concept, or lack thereof, that would allow for an indistinguishability between a forum and IM that would allow an expectaion of immediate response to an idle and offtopic enquiry. It only goes to show that we really are all aliens to each other--something that I think gets much too little consideration.)
Can't go wrong with God War 1 and 2. Very fun and challenging games.
god of war is good choise or any need for speed series and burnout series
@Jed That was a very diplomatic way of saying the world is filled with drooling idiots lol. Good job.
Rogue Galaxy, you cand find it cheap.
Snake Eater Or San Andreas

The must own GG games

For people who owned the GG, what games were the best? If you owned a GG, like me, the best games that i owned were Sonic Chaos, Triple Trouble, Columns, Tails Adventure. I did not have many games for the Gg. So what were your best games? The must own GG games
You mean Game Gear right? I thought you meant good game. When I had the game gear, I had super columns and one of the sonic games. But I somehow lost it.The must own GG games
Sonic drift 2
Shinobi II: The Silent Fury

Shinobi

Virtua Fighter Animation

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic Chaos

Sonic Triple Trouble

Ninja Gaiden

Battletoads

Wonder Boy

That should get you started.
Sonic Sonic SONIC!
dont forget columns
I loved the gamegear and I think it was the only system that my mother actually liked because it had color lol. My mom thought the gameboy wasnt as good. The GameGear would have been better if the battery lasted longer but then i bought an AC adapter. Yeah I dont know if i am going to buy any more games for it though. I wasn't looking for suggestions i was just asking for opinions. The games are cheap though and mabe i will check out street fighter or ninja gaiden.
Shinobi II. Great handheld game. I liked Woody Pop too, childish and simple but fun.
I loved all the sonic games on the GG, as well as columns (finished it several times).I also had a game similar to the fire emblem ones, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, any suggestions?

I played a lot of NBA Jam on that system. It was a friend's though. The games I owned were: Robocop 3, World Series Baseball, George Foreman's Boxing, Formula One, that's all I can remember. Nothing outstanding, I know. I mostly played World Series Baseball and Formula One. I received the blue Game Gear for one of my birthdays. It must've came with WSB. Wish I woulda had a Sonic game.
definitely pick up one of the sonic games and jurassic park.id also get sonic drift 2 but its import and its kinda expensive

is yoshi's cookie a good game?

on any platform? if it is which console has the best version cuz i was looking at it and its on nes, gb, and snes. by best i mean best cost to quality ratio lolis yoshi's cookie a good game?
The game was pretty rubbish to be honest, just another cynical Tetris clone that loads of developers seemed to be churning out at the time (Nintendo included). I had the Game Boy version, but I can't imagine there's much to choose between them. If you want a game like this, go for Tetris Attack on the SNES (re-released on the N64 as Pokemon Puzzle League), it's loads better. Or you could just get Tetris...is yoshi's cookie a good game?

I remember buying that when I was a kid thinking it was a real Yoshi game. I took it back to the store once I figured out it was just a puzzle game. Thankfully Nintendo released Yoshi's Island in 1995. Now that's an SNES Yoshi game worth playing.
I own Yoshi's Cookie on NES and It's alright but too easy. The graphics look terrible on NES. SNES looks way better.

i liked Yoshi's Cookie. i had the SNES version. i would plug it in, and then pop some music into my CD player and play away. however, i agree with the other posters. Tetris Attack is much better... and at the Very Hard difficulty setting is nearly impossible to complete without a lot of practice.

do you have to pay yojimbo to attack?

In FFX i recently got the aeon, yojimbo for a price of 1,910,000 (the nerve of that aeon!). i lost most of my credits and now i only have 1,500 gil. so i decided to check how strong this aeon could be. his introduction in battle is dramatic and to my surprise, his magic gauge is zero! to my surprise, you only got two options: either to pay him or dismiss him in battle. is he always like this? how about if overdrive modes, do you have to pay him for that attack. i only summoned him once and spent 100gil for an attack then dismissed him (i'm saving up my gils for support items just in case). by the way, his attacks varries to the amount/value you pay? do you have to pay yojimbo to attack?
Wow you overpayed for him. You should have looked up him on Gamefaqs so you can see how you're supposed to hustle him for a lower price. And yes he asks for pay to attack everytime. I simply gave him 1 gil all the time, and he gave me satisfactory results. do you have to pay yojimbo to attack?

I recently paid for his services too. I didnt want to let him go since I wanted to get all the aeons, but once I summoned him in battle and found out I had to pay him again I immediately dismissed him. Havent summoned him since. :P
The only 2 reasons you get him 1. Required for certain things and full completion. 2. Cheesy 1 hit kills on bosses assuming you pay enough.
The only 2 reasons you get him 1. Required for certain things and full completion. 2. Hey,You have to at least pay Yojimbo 1gil for him to do anything, paying him 1gil will probably trigger his weakest attack in which he uses his pet dog to attack for him (his weakest attack is still pretty good tho)To make him do better moves you have to pay him quite a bit more money, I've heard depending on what stage of the game your at and how much gil you have personally will effect how much gil is needed for which attack. Reminder - He only uses 3-4 attacks Hope this helped, Visit my profile and leave a comment if it did :D
