I think the biggest reason I miss this game so much is:1.) Since I dropped my N64 (about 7 years ago) I haven't played it, so I miss the nostalgic feel of it and2.) It's one of the few strong games on N64 that wasn't remade.Mario 64 can be found on EVERY current gen Nintendo system, Rare's work with Microsoft has allowed Conquer's and the upcoming Banjo Kazooie to come out, and Zelda games have made appearences on GC and VC (Wii). This is the missing link and from the news stories I recently read, it ain't coming out.I also highly miss Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron a lot as well, both those games rocked and I can't beat them enough! I Miss My N64
I lost my controllers and my friend has my oot so I can never play it agian
God I miss those long days playing the N64... where there was no system war evident to me and I could play goldeneye.Come on guys, goldeneye... I honestly think that was one of the most badass games (for its time of course) that I've ever played. I tried going back and playing it again, but it's almost unplayable now because N64 graphics in today's world are diarrhea.I think I played that game on and off and with multiplayer for about six years...
I can't beleive you called N64 graphics diarrhea. Graphics don't make games. I don't understand when someone say that they can't play a great game from a previous gen just because it looks ''bad''.
Hell yeah I've been buying n64 games lately. Been playing WWF No Mercy and Resident Evil 2. Yeah the 64 graphics aren't great but some games look pretty good (ex. Turok 2)
I miss my N64 not only for the games (mine still works and I still have my goldeneye copy), but mostly because by that time there was no worries, no work, no debts, no wife, no problems whatsoever just go to school and that was it. That was my golden age of gaming, that't where I played the most, I also had the NES and SNES but I had way more fun with the N64.That's probably the main reason of why I miss my N64!
even though i have 2 n64s i dont have the games and good controllers because my bro took them and he has the n64 with the expansion packall i kave is a bad controller and n64 with the jumper pack

I don't think there was anything wrong with his insulting the 64's graphics; it's true they are rather antiquicated, epsecially considering the system's heavy focus on 3D. Though, there's no problem with you taking issue with them alone being the reason the games are unplayable (though I think he was mostly referring to Goldeneye, in which case the graphics are hardly the only issue)
Yawheh?! Goldeneye's gameplay hasn't aged at all! Having one of the biggest retro fanbases ever, if not the biggest is testement enough to how great that game was and still is. It's one of the best games ever made and can stand up to any FPS today!
i had a N64,but i had no AV cable,so i couldn't play,and i had no games so yeah :

Haha, maybe so. But Vincent can wrap himself with his cloak and dart around the place looking like nothing more than a smokey blur. :P

I really like Goldeneye and 007 The World Is Not Enough, still play em....i still have a n64,2 controllers,2 memory cards, rumble pack,2 games mentioned above, pkmn stadium2 (i was a kid at the time, but i recently traded it to my lil bros friend for Super smash bros),star fox, mega man 64,mario kart, mario party 3,SM64,LoZ OoT(one of my fav games of all time)
lol at least u can look at it
I miss my N64 games that I stupidly traded to Eb Games a couple of years ago.
Ya, Goldeneye didn't age well. It's horrible viewing distance and wopping 15 frames per second make it hard to play now. But games like Wave Race, Conker's BFD, Paper Mario, Banjo, Starfox have aged fairly well and are still very playable to this day. There's more, but I'm too tired to look and list lol.
