Did u ever own a TG-16 and/or a Saturn?

I consider the Turbo Grafx-16, and the Sega Saturn to be the 2 most obscure systems.
I just want to see how many people here owned either one, or both of these ill-fated consoles.I owned neither. But I've known a couple people who did. Just a couple though.Did u ever own a TG-16 and/or a Saturn?
I had a Saturn and I loved it. I miss being able to play a near perfect port of X-Men COTA or Street Fighter Alpha or World Series Baseball. Sure the cases sucked and they wre ultra fragile, but it was a nice little system... it was the last Sega system I owned.Did u ever own a TG-16 and/or a Saturn?
I had both. Bonk was my fav system on the TG16 and the Saturn I remember going nuts on In The Hunt(Submarine game). I loved both of these systems
Yes I owned both, along with a 3d0 and a vintage Commodore 64 as my obscure systems. They were all good systems, but Saturn really struggled with 3d, 3d0 had a lot of games with quality issues, and TG-16 had expensive games that you could usually beat in one night.
There are far more obscure systems than the Turbografx-16 or Saturn. Do the 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Apple Pippin, or Playdia ring a bell?

The TG-16 and Saturn both sold 10,000,000 units, which isn't bad.

And yes, I own a Saturn and consider it to be the best system ever made. I've played a TG-16 and do plan on buying one soon.

Saturn struggled with 3D? Really?

I Sega Saturn was awesome, but I didn't own it. I bought a Turbo Grafx once (I needed a door stop).

Bonk 1-3, Air Zonk, both Bomberman games, Alien Crush, Blazing Lazers, Galaga '90, Legendary Axe 1 and 2, New Adventure Island, Neutopia 1 and 2, Pac-Land, R-Type, Space Harrier, Snatcher, and Turrican were outstanding. I would be glad to have a ''door stop'' that could play those. If you could play Turbo-CD games and Japanese imports, things went from awesome to amazing in a hurry.
I have Saturn. It is still good console. I have several great games for Saturn.I always wanted to get Turbo Duo because my friend gave me Dracula X. =/ Some Turbo games were great games.

Say, didn't Panasonic have a system of their own at one time?

EDIT: I'm surprised you never mentioned the Phillips Cd-i.
Nope, but i always wanted both of them. Now I'm seriously considering getting a saturn, but I have played TG16 games and they are mostly crap. a few other consoles that i want, but not many people have : Jaguar, NeoGeo, 3do, Nomad
I own a saturn and i still play it every now and then. one of the all time greats IMO

i used to shoot womprats with my T-16 back home, they're not much bigger than 2 meters.
I have a sega saturn and I have a PC-engine which is the japanese version of the TG-16
i have a saturn and i can play tg 16 games on wii lol no need for that! and quite frankly many of the games are on other plats as well ,
The only 2 ''released'' systems i do not own are the CDi and the 3do. I really want to secure a Neptune but they are essentially impossible to get unless you have massive resources or inside connections.

|I own U.S. %26 Import Sega Saturn....the import titles is where the strong software titles are at. I played Turbo-Graphics at a friend's house when I was younger. It had some pretty nice shmups.
I still own a TG16. Aside from my cousin, I don't personally know anyone else who has/had one, but I don't think it's rare, just not popular. My brother used to have a Saturn...I think he sold it for beer money.
