Need Help with an older Nintendo Game

I remember when i was younger i played this game on a Nintendo system that my parents either sold or got lost or something but I'm looking to find the system and the game on eBay so that i can once again play it. The main thing that i remember about the game is that the characters are frogs, it is a multiplayer game and you are frogs that can pick up like swords or whatever to kill bad guys and then once you have killed enough bad guys you play the bosses. I remember one of the bosses being a giant hand that smashed out of a wall and then tried to crush the characters. If anyone has any idea which game this is it would be much appreciated. i think he should call up one of those used game franchises, and ask if they have any copies of Battletoads. which one should he call, though... which one...
