Nintendo 64 Memory Expansion Pack.

Do you need a memory expansion pack for a N64 to play most games. Also do all games save on to controller paks.Cheers morphies_emuNintendo 64 Memory Expansion Pack.

It came out before the memory expansion was available.However, Majora's Mask does require it.There are also a lot of games that may not require it but having it is highly recomended for better performance (i.e. Turok 2)
As stated before, but to summarize...Most games do not need the expansion pack and will not look or play any better with or without it. Some games recommend it but it is not required. A few games require it.The contoller pack memory card is used by some games to save but most games save directly to the cartridge. It is a good idea to have one because you never know wht game you might get needs the card.
