Hey guys, I got an N64 again a while ago, and was wondering how this game holds up. Is it worth getting especially when we have some pretty good racers for the newer consoles?San Francisco Rush N64
I have it, it's pretty good, I say you should get it, but it's arcadey and not like games on newer consoles...San Francisco Rush N64
I had it for mine too and I remember it being fun. It might be arcade-like but you will definitely do alot of flips and twists and if you don't land it right your car will blow up. Your cars also take damage but I can't remember if it effects performance, I'll say not. You also do cool jumps and there's one level like the car chase from the film The Rock where you keep jumping off the road while going down, it's so fun in 2 player.
I still remember the bottom line of a review I read when the game came out:''San Francisco Rush is a lot of fun, even though the cars handle like drunk rhinos on ice''.Couldn't sum it up better.
get rush 2049....now that game holds up EXTREMELY well, such an awesome game
yeah i have the first one. the sequal to it, i think it was either rush 2 or rush 2049 like fiercedeity901 said, but anyways i remember it had a stunt mode that was waaay more fun that than the racing game itself. plus if you messed around in the races and got all the keys you unlocked way cooler cars than the first game had.

yea rush 2049 had a stunt mode in it and it was freakin awesome
also the actual races were extremely fun cause there were so many secret routes it was crazy...and u could also collect gold and silver coins (OMG the gold coins sucked to get them) and it added tons of replay value to the game....even the stunt courses had coins that seemed almost impossible to get

I liked the bus vehicle and the mini (like the one out of The Italian Job). The sports cars were harder to handle where as the bus was the easiest if I remember correctly. Playing against the a.i in hard mode was a good challenge. At that time I didn't have internet so playing in hard mode on a reverse track was really great because it felt like the other racers were really alive.
