How is God Hand?

I wanted to get this game when it first came out, but I didn't because of some bad reviews. Now that the price is fairly cheap, is God Hand a good game to play or should I just avoid it. Thanks. How is God Hand?

Never played it but have a look at this and see if they convince you into getting it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBqB5LUKh8A
It's worth picking up.
i had alot of fun with this game. its setting is like old arcade games ( even some enemies ) so it made me feel nostalgic and its humor was funny.also gameplay is great, you have 100+ moves and you define your combo, so there are hundreds different combinations to enjoy
God Hand is definitely quirky and fast-paced but I probably got no more than $5 worth of entertainment out of it. It's a one-trick pony that gets old really fast. Can you handle long levels where all you do is button-mash? Chaining together moves does nothing to alter that this is a repetitive and boring game. In short, I think the bad reviews are warranted; it's freakin' horrible.
In one word: BUY IT AND ENJOY

dude you should get it , from my exp i bought the game and played it for about 5 min and did not like it, then 3 months later i picked it up again and had a go with the game for about 30 mins and love the game and cna't put it down, about the graphich is not that great but the gamepaly is awesome, a must buy for ps2 oweners
Its a fun fighter, the only problem is the dificulty scaling Instead of making the enemys smarter or more powerful they instead double, triple and quadripple the enemys HP by the end of the game it litterally feels as if your hitting against a brick wall on some enemies

The game only has 4 character models that get repeated endlessly troughout the entire game while realisticly due to how extravagant they are designed you will already be tired of the clones by the end of level 2

Yes it is true the game knows 100+ moves but they dont scale with your character so you realisticly only have 10 to 20 moves at your disposal unless you want to make the game nigh impossible for yourself - not to mention half of those moves will be upgraded versions of what you already had '' pimp hand rank 1 through 3 etc.

Yes the game is fun, the story is bizar but it also has a fair amount of flaws that not everyone will be able to look past.
