When I turn on my NES it blicks a pink screen and the power light flashes as opposed to my FC Twin. I tried clean it with solvent and cotton swabs (q-tips) and still the same thing happens. I looked on line for solutions and it informed me to open it, Which will not be happening anytime soon. Deos somebody know what to do.Common NES problem
Blow into the game cartridge.Common NES problem
The common answer for that problem is 'blow in the game'. What you end up with from that is condensation (slight or more) from moisture in your breath, ending up in dirty cartridge connectors. The issue is (most-likely) a worn out 72-pin connector inside your NES. (A reason you see so many on ebay for 5-10 dollars)My NES had the same issue, and I found a guide on how to take it apart, actually fix the connector with a small eyeglass screwdriver, some qtips, and some 90% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol (90% takes less time to dry than 70 since there's less water).I was able to take mine apart, clean it, clean the games and had it working better than ever. I ended up saving the 5-10 dollars on a new connector.

Rubbing alcohol has oils and water which can leave deposits and possibly corrode the pins in the long run.
