Axis and allies?

Wasn't there a game like axis and allies on nes in the mid 90's? Or was it sega? Or maybe I'm just losing my mind?Axis and allies?

no it was either on nes or sega
I don't know about those 2 systems but there was one for the PC.Actually, they're bringing out a new anniversary version of the boardgame. It's got lots more pieces and they completely reworked the map and tweaked some rules. Sounds interesting enough for me to pick up when it comes out.
