Someone said killzone is great for PS2. is anyone knows this game or have already played it? how is it?How is killzone? Should i get it?
Its not bad, once you get around the fact that it was hyped as a ''halo Killer'' its actually pretty decent. It does feel rushed and kind of glitchy though. How is killzone? Should i get it?
I'm not crazy about the graphics or story, but it's alright.
At first I thought it sucked because you cant one hit kill people and your ammo runs out pretty fast. But after you learn to go just for headshots and stuff its pretty fun. At certain points of the game you can change characters and they each have their own special weapon and sometimes new paths open up through area's. I went through the game a few times so it has a little replay value but I wouldnt say it has great replay value. The split screen if it had one sucked. Theres nothing to do except go through the story mode. I would grab it for 10$ or less.
I like Ghost Recon 1, Urban Chaos: Riot Response, and the socom series for my FPS needs. FPS was pretty lame all around on the PS2 though. Oh yeah I guess there is Time Splitters that lets you make your own maps and stuff. Not very good in single player though.
I liked it. One of my top shooters for the PS2.
Its ok I suppose. Its certainly nothing special though. Probably worth a play if youre into FPS games.
its pretty cool...i spent many many hours on the offline multiplayer with bots.

First id have to say if you are lloking for a PS2 FPS and dont have timesplitters: uture yet then go get that ASAP
It features a long and diverse singleplayer, all levels are co-op enabled and the game has absolutely tons of multiplayer maps to play against bots and players (bots and 2 player at the same time works) it has a pretty big map maker and a couple of minigames thrown in that make it the most complete package out of any ps2 FPS
Now as far as killzone goes, The enemys have above average HP and hit detection isent the best either, the game allows you to select one of 4 characters at the start of each level but they vary little in gameplay. The story mode is entertaining and the graphics aint bad but after the job is done you will find little motivation to head back. overall a 7/10
With burst fire and headshots the enemys still take absurdl amount of bullets making to believe the hit detection in the game is way off or the rriffles hold a low acuracy, neither are a good thing considering the low ammo count of the acurate ISA rifle you'l find yourself clutching a helghast rifle for a large portion of the game making hakkhar the obvious option for his acuray bonus with this weapon..
I enjoyed it. You should get the game, its cheap and fun. Not the best FPS game, but i really had a good time.
i like the shooting mechanics and such...but the story ain't too great and the visuals are just so grey and dull it just sucks the fun right out of the game.....sad to say that it looks like that trend will continue in KZ2
Thanks all for helping
I'd avoid it, unless you can snag it for free.

pfff most guys get taken out with two shots to the head, atleast on whatever the easiest mode is? if it has one?
sorry i don't have this game
I loved it. Quite challenging as well, especially on hard. Good buy. I liked how you could choose from a selection of characters at the start of each mission. *flame guard securely up* I prefered it to Halo 1.
If you like an unfinished game then get it. I actually got stuck on a level every single time cause the game's got many glitches. Never finished it.
I bought the game. need no helping anymore. thanks all
Good purchase. Have fun :)
