ogre battle 64?
tactical ogre 64 is more a tactical game than an rpg but it has a great reputation(the game was never released in europe so I never had the chance to play it)and well you have zelda ocarina of time and majoras mask, although they are more adventures than rpgsthere are a few rpgs more but I can't remember anything that is really worth to mention.
Ditto the above poster. Just snatch up a PS1 (or 2, as PS1 games will work on it. Not sure of compatability on PS3 yet). Many 3rd party developers went to the CD format, especially when it comes to RPGs. They wanted to do more things than what the (more expensive to produce at the time) cartridge format would allow them. This was Square's reason for bailing on Nintendo and going with Sony back in the day. Thus why the abundance of RPGs on Sega's Saturn and Sony's PSX, and the relative lack thereof on N64.
Zelda. Durr. ;)
lol I found one you can buy: http://www.toysnjoys.com/n64/aidyn.html
Already have a PS2 tho and I know there's ton of them on PS1
Then you might as well buy some Final Fantasy's. There super mario RPG but i think that came out for Super Nintendo not sure.
maybe the TC already has played many of the RPG's on the PS1 %26 PS2, but is still wondering what RPG's ARE out there for the N64 as well...you guys ever think of that
and to the TC...yea, there is only really a few RPG's on the N64...two on the top of my head being Quest 64 (really hard, but rewarding) and Paper Mario (amazing game, funny as hell, amazing story and gameplay)
aidyn chronicles
Even though it got bad reviews, I love Quest 64. I'm on my third playthrough of it. Aidyn Chronicles wasn't bad, though I didn't really get too far into it before I got an Xbox.
Quest 64 is pretty much the only turn-based RPG I actually enjoyed. I don't know if you'll like it(because I know many don't :P), but I do, so I guess I recommend it.
Quest 64 is worth trying out.
