Is Lunar on the GBA a remake of Lunar silver star story on the ps1?

Im looking to play one of the two, the beginings seem almost identical but in the GS review it mentions nothing of being a straight remake.can someone help me out hereIs Lunar on the GBA a remake of Lunar silver star story on the ps1?
I never played the handheld ones but I don't think that they are. I never heard of them being remakes, if they were I would have bought them. I'd love to own the PS version of Silver Star and Eternal Blue.Is Lunar on the GBA a remake of Lunar silver star story on the ps1?
Its more like the old sega version of silver star. That is just the original version of the ps1 lunar. The gba version isn't bad. Doesn't really have the COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY USELESS level grinding that the original lunar had, or in that matter- almost any single player rpg. Makes the pacing a bunch better. One of the complaints about the ps1 lunars, was its level of difficuly. Especially eternal blue.Well, the actual graphics on the gba version are better than the ps1 lunar, seriously. But you do lose the cg cutscenes and voice. Otherwise, I'd say go for it. Sound isn't too terrible either.
I don't believe it's a remake, but I don't know for sure at the moment.
it is a port of silver star only it doesnt have the cutscenes or voice acting. Everything else is pretty much the same.
