quick question about megaman 2

So I'm fighting Dr. Wily the first time when he's in this big ship thing. I'm in the second to last area. Now, Dr. Wily keeps killing me and I just got another ''Game Over'' screen. What I want to know is, if I insert a password for extra energy tanks now, will I be able to fight Dr. Wily from where I died, as if I just hit Continue? Or would I have to start over from Dr. Wily's first stage?quick question about megaman 2

You start over from the very first Wily level. And I believe you could only enter a password for extra energy tanks in MM3 if I remember correctly.
