Just got me an N64 again baby...woot woot

so i was tired of waiting for N64 games to come out on the VC for the wii...and i knew that all the RARE games would never come to the VC anyways...so i thought hey...i'll get me an N64 again



i searched on ebay for awhile...finally found a Gold N64 with two gold controllers and star wars racer for $100....over priced i know, but i bargained with the seller...got it down to $80 and had the seller throw in DK64 and the expansion pack...not bad for a sexy ass gold N64



i also got some pretty nice games to start me off for the next month...which are



-DK64 (amazing game with so much to do)

-Star Wars Episode 1 Racer (really good racing game, fast paced, and really customizable)

-Rampage (i freakin love this game...makes me laugh and tons of fun)

-Mega Man 64 (awesome game, lengthy, second favorite mega man next to mega man X)

-Excite Bike 64 (tons of fun, love the tricks, and SOCCER!!!)

-Goldeneye (what more to explain?)

-World is NOT enough (at time i liked this more the goldeneye because it actually was more stealth based)

-Perfect Dark (one of the best games of ALL time)

-Majora's Mask (Holo edition...my favorite zelda game ever...i love the sense that every NPC in the game has something to do and makes it more alive)

-OOT (gold cartridge...oot baby)



man...and that's only a fraction of the games on the N64 that i'm going to get...why must the N64 be so godly...lol



wish i hadn't ever sold my N64 in the first place...but i'm happy cause i got a gold one now =)

I still had mine from 1997 and a nice jungle green n64 I just got but ive been playing alot of goldeneye 007 lately since my xbox 360 is off for repairs =[Just got me an N64 again baby...woot woot

yea i remember when those neon clear colors came out and i wanted a new N64 so bad, lol...i never even knew that there was a gold one...glad i got one

yea...and it's IMO the best console ever...i'd take the N64 over the 360, wii, PS3 any day....and that's no exaggeration
I actually just purchased one as well, basically just to play the Rare games that I'll never get on the Virtual Console.
Good for you man. I sold my N64 a year ago, but i ended up buying another a month later. Great system, hard to part with.

Same reason i bought a snes a while ago i was tired of waiting for games like earthbound and super mario rpgtoo apear on vc but congrats i love n64
I still play my N64 alot, and I still buy games for it from time to time. My game collection is dominated by N64 games.
My N64 is over to my grandmother's house collecting dust because I got one late in the N64'S life,and I couldn't get a memory card or any good games in time. There is nowhere close to my house that sells anything for the N64 either so I can't use it as much as I'd like too.

u can find them on ebay for quite cheap if u know how to bid right
congrats on your find and purchase! my sister wanted a 64 for a long time (since it was the only nintendo system we didn't have) and we managed to find one at bookmans for like $45 this past Christmas. i've been loving finally getting to play some games on there!
